Is it necessary to do the tour with a guide?
You’re welcome to enjoy the trail on your own — it’s a beautiful, easy 2 km loop through lush rainforest. But if your goal is to truly see the wildlife, our Guided Sloth & Wildlife Tour is the way to go. With over 25 sloths living in the reserve and dozens of species of birds, frogs, and more, our certified naturalist guides know exactly where to look.
On a typical tour, you’ll spot 4–6 sloths and a wide variety of animals you’d likely miss on your own — and you’ll learn fascinating facts along the way. With small groups, passionate bilingual guides, and guaranteed sightings, this experience is often described as the highlight of the trip by our guests.
Booking the guided tour also supports local conservation and reforestation efforts — every step you take helps protect this vibrant rainforest.
Make the most of your visit — let nature reveal its secrets through the eyes of an expert.
